Announcement of New Representative Director and Management Structure
LINEA Innovations, Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo), a company dedicated to the realization of innovative fusion reactors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Yuta Nojiri as its new Representative Director and CEO, effective August 1, 2024. This transition marks the formation of a new management structure for the company.
Concurrently, the former Representative Director, Tomohiko Asai (Professor, Department of Physics, College of Science and Technology, Nihon University), has assumed the position of Director and CSO (Chief Strategy Officer). He will continue to lead the company’s fusion reactor development, collaborating closely with Mizuki Sakamoto (Professor, Plasma Research Center, Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, University of Tsukuba), who serves as Director and CTO (Chief Technology Officer). As CSO, Dr. Asai will guide this endeavor by shaping the company’s research and development strategy and fostering strategic partnerships.

Profile of Newly Appointed Representative Director & CEO, Yuta Nojiri
After a career in investment banking at Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd., he held key roles such as CFO and COO at the space startup Axelspace Corporation. There, he made significant contributions to the company’s growth by overseeing a wide range of responsibilities, including business planning, fundraising, business development, and satellite development project management. Subsequently, after serving as CFO at JDSC Inc., he joined Nareru Group Inc., a portfolio company of a private equity fund, as CFO, where he led the company through its successful IPO and later served on its board as a director.
He holds a Master of Engineering from The University of Tokyo.
